Thorn Lake. Come watch the sunset, beaver, birch and moon, and listen to
frogs., whip-poor-wills and loons in the secluded 2 bedroom south facing lake
front cottage.
Beautiful setting on the water, screened porch, sprawling deck, water lilies and
rock outcropping.
This cozy and peaceful cottage is spotless, with a bright bathroom. Two small
bedrooms sleep 2 or 3 people (double plus single beds)
In July and August, rentals are on a weekly basis only, start and end Fridays.
In Spring and Fall, the weekly rental is $900 per week and or/$550 for weekends Check-in & Check-out
times: Check-in time: 3:00 pm and check-out time: 11:00 am
For your relaxation and renewal, you'll find a hammock, canoe and CD/iPod player. The kitchen is well equipped and has a new stove, fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and hot and cold water, as well as a gas BBQ outside
The lakeshore is largely rocky with lots of crown land to explore, and the lake is quiet and safe, with no motorized boats or jet-skis. You can swim off the dock or enter via a small sandy beach.
"Love nest on the Water" is located within a 2-hour drive from downtown
Toronto, between Gravenhurst and Bala. You can enjoy golf courses, restaurants,
live theatre, dancing and shopping within a 20 minute ride.
