Wooden Shepherd Cabin Cruiser, 31', (beam 11.2') 1965
This well maintained Shepherd features double strip plank construction -
teak. She is powered by twin V8 gas engines, (327 c.i./220 h.p.) Since the last
survey, in July, 2007, the vessel has been refinished and overhauled. All fresh
paint and an anti-fouling coating were applied in 2009. The Shepherd boasts a
very spacious back deck. Currently in the water at Port Darlington, Bowmanville,
Ontario, the Shepherd is in great shape and ready to go.
Sleeping accommodation for six includes a V berth, divan (into bunks -double and
single. The dinette is burnt orange and white, with very good vinyl.. The
head and galley each offer a sink with hot and cold water. The floor is
teak and holly. New carpeting has been installed in the cabin, which also offers
an A.M F.M stereo. The galley includes a new fridge, and a 2 way
stove. All new blinds have been installed. Electric heat is available in the
galley and forward cabin.
The engine, batteries, generator, V.H.F., radar deflector, compass, fish and depth finder are all in good working condition. The hull is finished in white with blue accents. Cockpit seating features two white vinyl seats and a hard top canvas with stainless steel frames. Shore power hook-up is included.
