17' Shepherd Wooden Utility Runabout, 1949
Originally purchased by my wife's grandfather in 1949 from the Erieau
Shipyard, Erieau, Ont. After years stored in the family barn, some family
friends bought the boat and fully restored it in 1992-93. I bought it in
2001 after seeing it in a boat show. Last survey was done in March of 2004.
It is a nice cruising boat with top speed of approx 30mph. Chris Craft
Hercules motor (not original) 105 hp. 2 front seats and bench seat in the
back. Vinyl seat coverings are in good condition. Equipped with 12 volt
battery, horn, running lights, flood light, tach, volt meter, temp gauge bilge
pump, carpeted floor, inboard gas-tank, approx 10 gal. Boat does not have West
System.
This boat is in above average condition and includes a custom galvanized trailer
