Olde Muskoka at its' best, welcomes you at Chinook Lodge, Port Keewaydin, Keewaydin Island, Beaumaris, Lake Muskoka. Panoramic South-Western exposure. Many of Muskoka's steamships including the RMS Segwun have docked at this historic location on its' 75' long dock with covered double wide slip.

History continues into the third generation, as this is the original Muskoka homestead for the Wilson / Mitchell family for over seventy-five years. Harold Wilson brought fame not only to Muskoka, but also to all of Canada with the legendary series of Miss Canada racing boats. Miss Canada V, the very last of this legacy is still housed in in the same boathouse at Chinook Lodge, since she was built.

Our cottage is available during the month of August, as we will be away travelling. Here are some photos for your reference. Give me a call if you are wishing to beat the city heat, and enjoy some of Muskoka Heaven. Rates are $3,500 per week, some consideration for the entire month maybe available. Main cottage sleeps ten, plus an additional two in the bunkie over the dry boathouse. Full laundry facilities are on site. Eight person hot tub is located at water's edge.

5 bedrooms in main cottage, plus one additional bedroom in bunkie over the dry boathouse. Note each bedroom has its' own private hot / cold running wash basin. 2 washrooms including four legged bathtub. No shower.

3 queen size beds, one double , 2 single beds in main cottage; plus 2 single beds in bunkie. Note all mattresses are brand new.

Linen and towels are provided.

No air conditioning. Ceiling fans are located in all bedrooms. As previously mentioned, property is located on southwest point, thus receives prevailing breezes.

No TV. Never has been, never will be !! Lots of board games, including official size outdoor shuffleboard court. Swimming, skiing and fishing. Hot tubing. Quality family time!!

Full stereo system, including 5 disc CD player. Additional exterior speakers located at the hot tub.

No grass to cut. natural ground cover.

 

Fibreglass canoe. I am also prepared to offer our I/O boat that I would also make available. I understand that the going rental rates are around $1,200 - 1,500 per week. I would include the boat rental for $750 per week !!! Plus there is a three person Seadoo tube.

Yes, fully equipped kitchen, including brand new stove, plus two refrigerators. Additional bar fridge located down in the boathouse
