TUGBOAT -owner built      SOLD

Glen-L design Sherwood Queen built in 2005, length 16 feet, beam 8 feet. Hull
is 3/8" marine plywood fibre-glassed over. The frames, chine, and sheer are made of
Douglas fir. Battens, cover board and grab handles on roof are mahogany. The
wheel house is also 3/8" marine plywood. The deck and wheel house roof are also
fibre-glassed. The entire boat is encapsulated in west system epoxy.

One window opens in the cabin on the driver's side to 2 positions, (10 inches
and fully open). The windows are lexon.

The cabin has two seats but 4 can squeeze in on a rainy day. There  is also a
seat across the back which can seat 4. Under the seat is the gas tank and
battery.
The motor is a 1957 10hp Johnson which runs like a clock. It pushes the boat at
7 1/2 mph. You can troll for 8 hours on one 5 gallon tank of gas. Accessories
include bilge pump, navigation lights, c.d. player, marine radio, light up
compass, fish finder and a very loud air horn.
Trailer is in fair shape. I put new tires, springs, jack and lights on it
this year. The axle has a slight bend  but this does not affect trailoring. The
boat fits very nicely on it.
I have had this boat on Lake Superior many times while salmon and lake trout
fishing. she can handle a 6 foot wave! The boat is very sea worthy and has many
many more good years ahead of her.
The Tug is one of a kind and is very "u-neek" - a real eye catcher. Folks run
down to the banks to take pictures of it. Kids love it when I toot the horn!  The tug
was even featured on the local television news 2 years ago!
The boat is located in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
