Muskoka 6 acres on Lake Muskoka near Port Carling provides the feel of
camping but with all the required amenities. This property combines the
benefit of renting near the 'Hub" of Muskoka but with the relaxing privacy of
a remote location. The water is just steps from the door. Hike, bike, swim,
fish off the dock or just relax and unwind. Watch the herons feed off the
abundant bass. Seek out the deer, wild turkey, and other assorted critters.
Hike amongst the six acres of property and beyond or bike along the trail.
Finish off the day by sitting around the fire pit. A nearby boat launch
gives you access to lake Rosseau and Lake Joseph as well and there is an
extra boat slip to accommodate your vessel. Canoes, flotation devices and
fishing poles are there for your use but the fishing boat is restricted to
licensed users. There is both shallow water for young children and a depth of
about 8 feet at the end of the dock. The cabin sleeps two with and
additional bunkie sleeping two. Perfect for a family of four or two couples.
The kitchen has a stove, bar fridge, chest freezer and the usual small
kitchen appliances. All linens, towel and dishes are provided. The boat house
contains a second bar fridge. A propane BBQ can be found on the deck. The
water is filtered and UV treated. The cabin can be rented Monday to Sunday
at a cost of $750 per week. Special rates for longer stays can be negotiated.
