Mahogany Shepherd, 24', 1955
This beautiful Shepherd has had only two owners since 1969. "Second Choice"
was completely redone by Butson Boat Works in 1985. (All documents and work
orders are available). She has always been boathouse stored.
The Shepherd
features twin, 6 cylinder Chrysler engines. "Second Choice" (the first being the
owner's wife!), will perform beautifully on a sunset cruise with the engines
turning at 1200 to 1500 r.p.m. Should you require the boat to get home in a
hurry, you can turn the engines to 5000 r.p.m. or about 50 miles per hour.
Second Choice will hold 8 passengers comfortably, but can accommodate up to 12.
No trailer is included, as the boat has handled and maintained by Butson for the
past 20+ years.
The Shepherd is in excellent condition and currently lying
in Minett, (Muskoka). Arrangements can be made with serious buyers to test drive
"Second Choice".
