Mahogany Chris-Craft, 17 ft., 1947
This Chris-Craft, 1947 Deluxe Runabout, hull #445, 17 feet long, was completely restored and finished in 2009. All the wood has been replaced (except for the stringers) then finished with nine coats of marine varnish. The new bottom has been sealed and epoxied. It has new upholstery, shaft, and chrome. The motor,( original 6 cylinder, 95 h.p. Chris-Craft) has been completely rebuilt. The boat was used for two summers, 2009 and 2010. It handles and looks beautiful. The trailer was sandblasted, primed and painted with red epoxy paint. It has a new axle with drums and electric brakes plus new springs, tires and rims. The trailer is included with the boat.
