Wooden Chris-Craft, Deluxe runabout; 17 ft. 1939

This 1939 Chris-Craft Deluxe runabout was always garage kept, very original, no rot. All wood appears to be original. We pre-soaked it for 1 day, put it in water and the bilge pump hardly ran, hull is good and tight. Ribs, keel, chines, diagonal planking...all in good condition. Deck and topsides are good. Original wheel and dash, have all hardware except:1 windshield bracket, bow plate and 1 cleat. Interior need to be redone but the frames and springs are in good condition. This boat originally had a Chris Craft "B" engine. Option of a good running, painted and detailed "K" is available for an additional $3000.00. Trailer is included.

This is not a "pattern boat". It is a great project if you are looking for a well preserved, all original Chris Craft Runabout..that needs only the basic restoration for show quality.
