Some gentle reminders for a safe boating season this summer:
Make sure your drain plug is in, battery topped up, bilge pump works, and that life jackets, bailing pail, and towing line and paddles are packed.
Ensure that all bolts and screws are tightened on your inboard engine. Secure the locking pin on the trailer hitch and check the lights, wheel bearings and the tire pressure on those wheels…
(Remember you can purchase a battery “kill” switch inexpensively from Princess Auto, particularly useful if your woody doesn’t have a fuse box.)
Have a great time on the water.
