Chris-Craft Capri: 21 ft, 1956N
The Capri features a new, no-soak bottom by Don Danenberg in Manistee, Michigan. Video disks of bottom rebuild in hand. Needs refasten/refinish above bottom rebuild on hull. Kerfs are 3/16 ” wide to address rough kerf finish. Instruments function and look good. Chromed surfaces look decent. Needs new cover boards on each side of cockpit to accommodate windshield position. stainless steel. gas tank The Capri comes with a 6 cylinder, 158 mbl motor which has been disassembled to deal with a cracked block.  Also included in the sale is a tandem axle (sprung) trailer iwht surge (disk) brakes

This 2013 contemporary reproduction is modeled after a 1939 Chris Craft Barrelback.
Built by Reets Boatworks, Mayfield, NY USA.
Includes Searra Custom Trailer, single axle with surge brake.

HULL CONSTRUCTION:
Double layer of crisscrossed 1/4″ marine grade plywood with carbon fiber cloth sandwich, joined with West System epoxy.
3/8″ minimum thickness bookend laid Philippine mahogany outer layer
Interior coated with West System epoxy
All joints sealed with Sikoflex
10+ coats of varnish

Mercruiser Scorpion 350 cubic inches, 330 HP V8

All new chrome plated brass fittings

HISTORY:
This is a 2013 contemporary reproduction modeled after a 1939 Chris Craft Barrelback. Built by Adam Retersdorf, owner of Reets Boat works in Mayfield, NY.
The hull is a double layer of crisscrossed , 1/4″ marine grade plywood with a layer of carbon fiber cloth between, overlain with a 3/8″ minimum thickness bookend laid Philippine mahogany outer layer. All layers are joined with West System epoxy. The interior is coated with West System epoxy and all joints are sealed with Sikoflex.
Power is a Mercruiser Scorpion 350 cubic inch, 330 HP V8.
Fittings are all new chrome plated brass, with the casting done by Bud Bracken of Maine Classics, and the chrome plating by Braves of Alabama. Boat is 19.5 feet plus swim platform.
Swim platform was added to the design.
Trailered to shows and lakes. Maintained by, and Winter stored
Boat has been shown at many ACBS Boat shows. Contemporary 2nd place at Winnipesaukee Boat Show 2015.

Chris-Craft Sportsman: 27 ft, 1962
Notes from the owner:
“I have up for sale my 1962, 27 ft, Twin Engine, plywood lapstrake hull , Chris-Craft Sportsman. This open launch hull is in excellent condition, having been kept in a barn most of the time since 1962. Has prime coat on outer hull. Varnish has been removed for staining and re-coating. Engines are not seized, (twin Gray 283’s.) One was rebuilt only a few hours on it. Needs new upholstery. Nautolex decking is secure. Has cuddy cabin. Only requires cosmetic restoration. One of 240 built. Perfect boat to keep up in the boat house for that special evening or excellent guest conveyance for a 5 star resort. Boat is located north of Toronto, in Barrie Ontario.”
Note: A tandem axle trailer with new tires, rims and bearings is available for purchase. Also, The drive shafts and props come with the boat.

Chris-Craft Sea Skiff, 24 ft, 1964.
The owner of this versatile Sea Skiff has forwarded additional photos of the boat (below). The Chris-Craft was originally priced at $16,000. If you missed a previous post, the price has been dropped to $10,000 WOW! This is a lot of boat for the money. The Chris will handle heavy water and would make an ideal work boat, fishing, or scuba diving vessel with it’s very wide beam and spacious rear cockpit. The boat has been received regular maintenance/repairs as required. Powered by a Chevy 283 V8 engine, it comes with an auxiliary Evinrude 15 hp. outboard.
