We have been instructed by the owner to reduce the price on this completely restored  22 ft.Shepherd.
Originally priced at $35,000,  the new price is $29,000.

Notes from the owner:
This brawny, classic Shepherd is in excellent condition, having undergone a complete restoration in 2007; including new planking, rewiring, new chrome, new upholstery and new safety glass windshields. The Shepherd will handle heavy water and is a wonderful family cruise boat. The boat was exhibited in the 2012 ACBS Boat Show and is currently in use as a pleasure boat at a summer cottage.

Mariah Diablo (bow-rider): 18 ft., 1991
This well maintained “fibre-classic” Mariah bow-rider offers newer upholstery, newer lower unit, newer dash cover, (lower unit replaced since new) 4 speaker cd, Hummingbird 500 series, rain top, new/never used bimini, tonneau cover and a new travel cover. The Diablo is powered by a Mercruiser stern-drive, 4.3 L. 6 cylinder engine in good condition. Just replaced the gas sender, lower shift cable and bellows. The Diablo comes complete with 2 spare props, 2 batteries with controller, bumpers/lines/anchor/fire ext/full lighting/manual—trailer with newer tires/chrome wheels/elect brakes… all in good condition.

Century Resorter: 17 ft., 1950
Rare 17 ft Century Resorter. This classic is a daily driver meant to be run and enjoyed. It has a good finish and runs well. 140 hours on it last summer. It has new upholstery (2018), Sikaflex bottom seams, and all original. Includes wood flag poles and Venturi bailer, spare rubber and trim-lines and fenders too. It has been converted to 12 volt. New custom trailer that allows one person launch and load. Powered by the original numbered Gray Marine Phantom Six , (six cylinder),112 hp. Has a rare foot throttle. Comes with custom canvas cover. I have too many toys and am selling this one.

Port Carling SeaBirD:, 21 ft, 1941
This beautiful twin cockpit SeaBird was completely restored – wood, motor and chrome – in 2010 by Curtis Hillman, a renowned Muskoka craftsman. The boat is in excellent condition.

Duke Playmate: 19 ft., 1930

Duke Playmate: 17 ft, 1938
This charming Duke has been stored indoors year round. (The photos attest to the excellent condition of the finish). The “Playmate” was restored in the 1990’s. The sale includes custom cushions made a few years ago and custom paddles.

This beautiful 1953 Shepherd 22’ utility runabout African mahogany boat has won many boat show awards. She is powered with original 150 HP Gray Marine engine, Paragon hydrostatic transmission, and new 12 volt Dura test 84 mo. 1000 CCA battery. Boat was restored by Woodwind Yachts, Nestleton, Ontario, Canada, making this Shepherd a special eye-catcher in any boating event. Attention during restoration was made to original details.

Our newest listing: an Avro/Richardson cabin cruiser!

Avro/Richardson modified Phantom Express cabin cruiser: 36 ft., 1961
This attractive cruiser, built by the Avro Canada Company, (builders of the Avro Arrow jet aircraft) and Richardson boat builders, features a low maintenance, lighter weight aluminum planked hull!  The boat is in excellent condition, with the superstructure rebuilt by the owner over a twenty year period. The Phantom Express features mahogany cabins, and teak decks by Richardson. Restoration includes the following: a complete rewiring to 110/12 volts, a new inverter. all AGM heavy duty batteries, new 12 volt lighting, a new twin exhaust system, a new head and tank, new upholstery. a new on demand hot water system and electronic charts of the Rideau Canal, from Kingston to Montreal (w. computer). The Phantom is powered by twin Chrysler Plymouth Fury V8 engines (230 hp x 2). Both engines (and carbs) have been rebuilt. Included in the sale are  dinghy davits and an assortment of mahogany and teak parts as well as. some extra original hardware.
Available at additional cost are a Walker Bay dinghy with oars ($650) plus carpentry tools, table saw, drill press, etc. (price negotiable).
A survey will be undertaken this spring (2018). The last survey was done in 2012, when a value of $69,000 was established by the surveyor
