Waterford Disappearing Propeller Boat reproduction: 16.5 ft. 1980s
This replica Waterford “Dispro” was a project undertaken by Hugh Thompson of Orillia, Ontario, who passed away before the boat could be completed. The current second owner is downsizing his boat collection, and is looking for a new home and an enthusiast to complete the project.. The lines for the Waterford were taken from a deteriorated 1913-1914 model. The planking is cypress. Included in the sale is the dispro mechanism and materials to complete the boat, including rudder, ribbing supplies, etc. This Dippy will make a wonderful winter project.
