Honey Harbour Wooden Boat Parade and Show:
In what has become an annual tradition, a flotilla of classic and antique wooden boats chugged into the Town’s docks today, heralded by a bagpiper aboard a mini tug. Among the many beautiful watercraft on hand was Kittyhawk, the historic 35 ft. Gidley sedan, once owned by famed aviator Orville Wright. Enjoy the images of the show below.

(Above) Don Poole graciously offers the services of of his beautiful 22 ft Shepherd runabout for a pre-parade rendezvous with other woody boaters.

(Above) SeaBirds, Chris-Crafts (“Pepper” in particular)and Shepherds arrive at the parade kick off site.Shepherds are particularly popular in this part of Georgian Bay. Their brawny beam and generous freeboard allows for heavy water boating.

We have been instructed by the owners, to adjust the price on a beautiful Greavette Streamliner from $149,000 to $118,950! This is a very significant price reduction for a premier boat in excellent condition. The Streamliner underwent a major restoration with a new 5200 bottom and Chrysler V8 engine in 2004.

Our Newest Listing: a Shepherd Utility: 17.5 ft. 1949.
This classic Shepherd hasn’t been in the water for more than thirty years. Kept “high and dry” in covered storage, the previous owner, who had stripped the boat’s hardware, ready for refinishing, passed away before the project could be completed.
The Shepherd comes complete with its wind-shield and all hardware. It is powered by the original 6 cylinder Gray Marine Phantom engine. Our newest listing: a charming, Whitehall-design rowing skiff, 16 ft. 2011
This beautiful water-craft offers a light weight, pollution free mode of enjoyment and transport on the water. Built in 2011, the Whitehall designed skiff comes complete with a standard and special spoon bladed set of oars, (meticulously hand crafted), four oar locks and a custom Sunbrella cover. The cedar hull bottom is complimented by a mahogany deck and “wine-glass” transom, with ash gunwales and keel. The boat is sealed inside and out with 6 oz fibreglass cloth and 3 coats of varnish.
