GC2 is the second of four Clarion Gold Cup 25’s that have been built. Each one of these boats is slightly different and has its own individual character. The level of craftsmanship and attention to detail on this vessel is of the highest possible standard and is without compromise. The breathtaking design by Steve Killing is timeless. From the custom made chromed bronze hardware to the handcrafted moulded bucket seats and leather upholstery GC2 is a show stopper wherever it goes. GC2 has won several awards at boat shows including Contemporary Boat of the Year at the ACBS International Boat Show in Ottawa in 2005. GC2 has also graced the Rolls Royce Gallery with her presence at the Toronto International Car Show in 2006 when it was shown alongside a 1924 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud “Skiff”, a nautical themed model with wooden coachwork. Fitting company indeed.

 

Of the four Clarion Gold Cup boats that have been created, GC2 is the builder’s personal favourite. This boat was built with pride and can certainly be owned with pride.

 

It is difficult to measure this boat's value but suffice it to say that if a boat like GC2 were ordered today it would cost approximately $250 – $280,000.00
