Antique Sailing Dory: 16 ft.
Antique, wood, rowing/sailing dory in very good condition. She is 16 feet long and has a beam of 4 feet 6 inches with a mahogany floor. She is christened ‘TOAD’. She has a double set of oars for rowing by two “sailors”, and she has a mast with a light brown mainsail for sailing. Trailer is included. The rudder and tiller are missing, but a new one can easily be made by someone handily adroit using mahogany or teak wood: The stern brackets for the rudder are already attached on the stern – see the last picture included.
(Editors Note. The beautiful lines on this dory seem very similar to the famous and versatile Whitehall design)
Price: The asking price is $3900, or best offer. For further details and contact information, please click on the link. Ad number pb910

The results of our two question survey.
We recently sent out a brief survey, asking our subscribers and viewers if they would be interested in seeing posts and ads for antique and classic autos. We’re VERY grateful for those who responded, as the results help to chart the future of Port Carling Boats.
The survey results are below:
Include up to 50% of posts to classic cars: 44% of our respondents supported this option
Include up to 25% of posts to classic cars: 33% of respondents support this option
Include classic cars but no per cent indicated: 14% of respondents support this option
Do not market or represent classic/antique cars on the website: 9 % support this option.
Based on these results, we will likely proceed in the future with 20% to 25% of our posts and ads devoted to vintage autos, at least initially.
We appreciate the support of our viewers, and will do our best to keep everyone “on board.”
Thanks again to those who participated.
