Congratulations to the buyers and sellers of these four vintage boats, recently sold.
Surely this proves that there is a market for almost any kind of vintage water-craft out there!
Chris-Craft Sedan: 22 ft, 1954 (above)
“This attractive and very functional Chris-Craft sedan features a mahogany bottom, sliding side windows and hinged wind-shield. Powered by a six cylinder Model M Chris-Craft engine, (upgraded to a twelve volt system) the boat is estimated to reach speeds of 35 mph. The sedan is described as being in good condition. The owner has added a fuel filter, rebuilt the carburetor and recently repaired the bottom. “Athendune” is currently housed in Anola, Manitoba.”
The asking price on this boat was $25,000.
The list price on this Monro Torpedo was $3,900, including a 35 hp Merc engine and a trailer in roadworthy condition. (Below)
This sixteen foot, 1906 Herald Brothers sailing canoe was listed at $3,000 and sold in several months.(below)
This 16 ft. Chestnut square stern canoe has a carrying capacity of 900 pounds and came with a two wheeeld “side-kick” in new condition. The asking price was $900.
