The Giesler Boat company, located in Powassan, Ontario, has a newer facility to manufacture their trademark cedar strip  motor boats, canoes and row boats.  With nineteen models to choose from, there’s a “woody” for every budget and need. Giesler is  the only company in Ontario building  wooden boats on a “production” scale.
Their models, very reasonably priced, range from the 18 foot Georgian Bay to an 11 foot tender.  It’s worth a trip to Powassan just to see these  functional cedar-strips under construction.
