Classic St. Lawrence Skiff; 16 ft. 1980s

St. Lawrence Skiff; 16 ft, 1980s
The skiff is a 16′ St. Lawrence model, built by Tendercraft in the 1980’s. It is the same model that was also built for the Canadian film producer – Robert Lantos. The original skiff owner lived on Treasure Island near Kingston. The current (next) owner lived in Toronto and was using it to access the islands in Lake Ontario. An unplanned sudden move to Saskatchewan has left the skiff homeless.
It is Carvel construction with a white fibreglass covering, which is in decent condition. No hull planking needs to be replaced. The ends of both small decks are worn away and need to be replaced. A small piece of the outer trim, of one the gunwhales – also needs to be replaced. A sanding and a couple of coats of varnish are needed, but otherwise, the boat is in good, decent, restorable condition.
The asking price is $1050 or best offer.
