“This is a classic Bonnie Boat Works Lapstrake outboard skiff. The type was the subject of a major article in ACBS Toronto’s Classic Boat magazine last year. It has the distinctive re-curved bow typical of this manufacturer. Congratulations to the new owners (and vendors) of two beautiful classic wooden boats.
The first, an expertly restored Shepherd runabout, sold for close to the asking price of $30,000.
The second, a Duke runabout, also beautifully restored, was listed significantly below the cost of restoration. The new owner will surely enjoy many seasons of carefree boating at a very reasonable price.
