The three docks at the ACBS show were packed with visitors

Scores of vintage wooden and fibre-glassic boats (as well as vintage autos) lined the shores of Muskoka Bay in Gravenhurst, Ontario, this past Saturday July 7, 2018. The balmy weather brought thousands of visitors to the displays. Hosted by the Toronto Chapter, Antique and Classic Boat Society, this event is liable to go down in history as one of the best attended and most interesting shows on record. International vintage boat show tomorrow in Gravenhurst, Ontario

…A last minute reminder that The Antique and Classic Boat Society, Toronto Chapter, is hosting one of the largest antique and classic boat shows in North America tomorrow, July 7th, 2018. The show takes place in Gravenhurst Bay in downtown Gravenhurst and is free of charge. There will be lots to see with the in-water boat display, Vendors’ Row, Field of Dreams, vintage autos, activities for children and more. The weather promises to be very favourable, too!

Arrghh, Maties! The big Boat Show is coming!

Listen up, classic antique and “fibre-glassic” boat lovers. The International Antique and Classic Boat Society (Toronto Chapter) is coming Saturday July 7th. to Muskoka Wharf in downtown Gravenhurst Ontario. This is one of the largest exhibitions of vintage boats and autos in North America. Port Carling Boats will have a booth and there a number of activities and wonderful sights to see. Mark the date on your calendar and be sure to make the trip to Muskoka for this annual event.

Beautiful weather, boats and autos crown the ACBS Gravenhurst Boat Show

This year’s July 8th, 2017 vintage boat and auto show, sponsored by the Toronto Chapter ACBS, was a well attended celebration of our automotive and marine history. Admission to the show was free this year, in honour of Canada’s 150th birthday. Despite an overcast start to the day, (with some areas experiencing power outages) the sky cleared and the crowds arrived! Congratulations to all involved for a very successful show. No Gravenhurst Boat Show is complete without the steamship Segwun on the scene.

The vehicles at this year’s show were all “Concours D’Elegance” automobiles.

Several Amphicars made their way to to the Show this year.

The classic lines of these autos have a class, grace and beauty all their own.
