ABSOLUTELY TOP CONDITION – #6102 all original, only 2 owners in SE Lake Rosseau, Muskoka  Current  owners have cherished the boat since 1975
In 1997 the decks and bottom were refinished and the deck reputtied. Two planks in the hull and the rub rails were replaced by Fred Mischler. No sump pump is required after the spring “take-up“.
At that time the engine was also rebuilt professionally rebuilt  The 6 cyl  Buchanan Rocket, has been  lightly used since the rebuild.
Complete NEW UPHOSLSTERY was installed in 2017. and the Duke was re-varnished by Dukes in 2005 The fuel tank was restored as well.

We have been instructed by the owner of this 22 foot Duke Special to reduce the price from $40,000 to $29,995.  WOW

One of a Kind, 1950 22 ft. Duke Special custom built for a Muskoka Lakes client.
Notes from the owner:
“This mahogany runabout was custom built in Port Carling in 1950 and is unlike other Duke runabouts, there is a pass through from the rear seat to the front, no crawling over decks. The boat is 95% original wood, with all new white oak engine stringers and pressure treated plywood floor replacing the original spruce dead wood . The engine, a 6 cylinder Gray marine of approximately 105 HP, rebuilt by PAL engines in 1987, comes with manuals.”

Our Newest Listing: a charming Duke Playmate: 18 ft, 1952

Duke Playmate: 18 ft, 1952
This charming Playmate was stripped and refinished professionally by Curtis Hillman in 2011 with approx. eight coats of new varnish. A new half transom was installed at the same time as the refinishing. The upholstery is in excellent condition.
The boat was used only several times following the restoration. It has been in storage since 2012 due to a death in the family.
When last operated, the Playmate, powered by a 25 hp. Buchanan Midget engine, was in good running condition. (Some carbureter work had been undertaken at the time of refinishing.)
The Duke makes a wonderful gentle cruise boat, seating up to seven adults.

Our newest Listing: a beautiful Duke – 19 ft. 1950

Duke utility: 19 ft., 1950
This Duke is a beautifully restored and maintained example of wooden boat craftsmanship. The Duke is powered by a 75 hp. 4 cylinder Grey Marine “Phantom” engine, which was completely rebuilt (including the transmission) by Parry Automotive in 2013.The boat itself has undergone a total restoration with the exception of the upholstery, which is in good original condition. The sale includes a custom, single axle bunk trailer and a full cover. Owner must sell.
