The Duke Utility that got away!

April 6, 2020 in Uncategorized

Congratulations to the buyer of this Duke utility, 19 ft. 1964, who scooped Port Carling Boats before we could put in an offer for the boat! We just couldn’t get our hands on a tandem-axle trailer quickly enough! “Lamda” was apparently structurally sound, with a functioning Slant Six Chrysler engine, according to a professional restorer, (Stan Hunter), who was storing the boat .

The Duke had been in storage on Langmaid’s Island, Lake of Bays, for some thirty years! The utility certainly needed a face-lift,  but likely no other major work.
The new owner has a wonderful project with which to apply him or herself until the Covid-19 lock-down has ended.
The asking price was just $5,000 CAD  WOW!  For details, check out the video below
